It’s hard to believe that two short weeks ago, Demi Lee entered the world. I had the pleasure of photographing her birth and her Fresh 48 session. And yesterday, we spent the morning photographing some new memories for mommy and daddy — her nursery reveal!
Demi’s mommy is a ballerina. So it was only fitting that her room be full of soft pinks and ballet things. Amanda did an incredible job putting together such a sweet nursery for her baby girl.

I love working with real estate agents. From photographing their listings to photographing them for their marketing materials. A week ago we set up shop at Pat and Wanda’s office and had a fun photo session. Both of these ladies have been working hard to shed a few pounds, and they look great! So of course new head shots and marketing pictures were needed!

This sweet family asked me to do a lifestyle session with them at their home before I left for vacation, and I’m just now stopping long enough to blog about them. Lacretia has been keeping me busy photographing all her real estate listings, and FYI, those houses aren’t lasting long on the market!
She wanted some new marketing photos for her business, and wanted some new family shots as well. So we had some fun with the entire family, even their sweet dog, Purdy!

Our Alabama crazy summer weather had us running from lightning and rain during Sheffield’s session, but we were able to capture some sweet memories for mom and dad. Sheffield is just a month younger than my youngest, and has the same energy she does. Exploring and running is their favorite at this age, so we let him do his thing and just ran after him. Puddles and little boys just go together, and when his mom and dad let him have fun in the water it was priceless!

Y’all might remember Darcie from a few months ago. You know, the gorgeous one in the unforgettable prom dress? Well, she and her mom drove over to see me this week so we could take her Senior Cheerleader pictures.
We had so much fun sweating together in our humid weather, but she brought her A game and we got so many great photos for her to use in their football program this year. I have no idea how they are going to pick the ones to use!

Our oldest niece, Hannah, came to stay with us for a few weeks this summer. Before she left to go back home we had a quick session in our front yard. This teenager has one crazy amount of thick, curly hair, but she rocks it with her contagious smile. It won’t be long before my brother-in-law will be showing his shotgun to the potential boys lined up at the door to date her!

Maddie Clare, y’all, isn’t she gorgeous?! She is a sophomore at the University of Alabama, and will be rushing this fall. She needed some updated head shots and I was happy to take them for her.

The Reyes family have become sweet friends of ours. The friendship started off last year during Preschool and Mother’s Day Out. Our kids are the same age, and were in class together. Once they became friends, Lindsey and I were introduced and we became fast friends. We found out in May that this sweet family is moving to another state at the end of summer. And, well, we are crushed. My kids ask everyday to see Stephen, Becca and Mae, and I know once they move many tears will be shed. So, we are spending as much time together as we can this summer to make memories.
Lindsey wanted some updated pictures of her littles, and the weather has not been cooperating on the days we have planned. So, we got up EARLY this morning, and the outcome was perfection!

Back in the fall, I photographed Randy and Grace for her maternity photo session. We laughed and had a great time, and I couldn’t wait to meet little Colton!
This little guy was born two months ago, and he is so handsome and sweet. We moved from place to place and he was happy as can be! I can’t wait to see him crack a smile soon, and before we know it he will be sitting up by himself! But time, please don’t pass too soon!
