Malauri is married! The sweet couple said their vows yesterday, and it was a beautiful ceremony. A month before they said “I Do” I photographed Malauri for her bridal portraits. And, today I finally get to show them off!
It was HOT, but she was a trooper! We shot at two different locations, which gave her a good amount of different looks to choose from. Her makeup, hair, dress, everything was perfect, and even held up as we dodged rain showers.

I love working with real estate agents. From photographing their listings to photographing them for their marketing materials. A week ago we set up shop at Pat and Wanda’s office and had a fun photo session. Both of these ladies have been working hard to shed a few pounds, and they look great! So of course new head shots and marketing pictures were needed!

I love Instagram. I use it more than any other social media. And, I guess you can say my love for photography is why I love it more than any of the others — pictures, pictures, and more pictures.
A little over two years ago I started following Amber at StylePlusCurves on Instagram, and then came to find out later she was the sister of one of my friends here in Bham. Small world, right? Well, I got to meet Amber recently and she asked me to photograph her that day. When she came back into town for her high school reunion, she scheduled a session with me. I was tickled pink! She knows how to work the camera, and we had a ball sweating to death together. After all it is the hottest time of the year in Alabama!

Maddie Clare, y’all, isn’t she gorgeous?! She is a sophomore at the University of Alabama, and will be rushing this fall. She needed some updated head shots and I was happy to take them for her.
I love when I get to photograph someone who loves to be photographed. It makes for a fun session, and the photos, well, they speak for themselves! Thank you for allowing me to capture this time in your life, MC!

Does anyone else think that going to a new stylist is like going on a first date?
Is he/she pretty?

Will I leave happy, or in tears?
A stylist is more than just a person who has shears in their hands. He/she will help you solve the worlds problems at the wash bowl. He/she will have your life story by the end of your appointment. And lets not forget that he/she has the power to change your look (in a good or bad way). At the end of that “first date” you know if y’all have chemistry.
And more than likely, if you click, you’ll end up being best friends for life.
Over a year ago, I had my last “first date” with my stylist, Krystle. If she or I ever move away, I’d still travel every six weeks to have her work her magic. I’ve followed her as she found her new home away from home at Spa One80. I’ve even gotten to know her fellow teammates, and have grown to love them as well.
They’ve been in their new location for a few months now. Everything is so chic. They’ve built their team, and they are rocking it! They are a full service salon/spa including hair, nails, facials, and massage. We decided once they got settled in that we’d set a time for head shots, and yesterday was that day.
