About a year ago we officially met this family. Their little boy, Brayden, was in Avery’s Mother’s Day Out class. Unfortunately, this year he moved to a different school. But, we still try to have play dates and we swim together in the summer.
Julie asked about family pictures back in August. Those months flew by quick and now, I’m showing off my favorites from their family session.
It’s always fun to meet new clients for the first time. And it’s even more refreshing when they are up for whatever and smile no matter what. Well, the parents that is — little Emma didn’t give me but just a few smiles, but the wait was worth it!
This little girl is cherished, and she adores her mommy and daddy. Maybe the next time we meet she will be wiling to send a few more smiles my way.

The Kesslers are the cutest little family. I met Lindsay through a mutual friend at a girls night playing Bunco. She’s just as sweet as can be, and has an adorable little boy, Hank. This past weekend I met her husband, David, and I got to spend some time with them at Aldridge Gardens to capture some sweet memories for them.
Lindsay is a floral designer in the Birmingham area. She has created some beautiful arrangements for her clients (which includes brides)! You should definitely check them out on her Facebook page!

You’ve seen Amiee and Darrick grace the blog before, but not Amiee’s parents. Y’all, this couple had me rolling the entire session. I’m so thankful I could watch and capture this sweet family interacting. I was in the best mood when I pulled away headed back home!

We made a quick trip to Mississippi this past weekend to celebrate birthdays with my husband’s side of the family. And while we were there, I had a family session with Summer, Chris and their sweet little six month old son, Kasen. I’ve known Summer for many years since we grew up in the same community, but it had been awhile since I had seen her and it was a nice to meet her husband and baby boy.
We meet up at Clarkco State Park and walked all over the front side of the lake taking pictures. Baby Kasen smiled all the time! He is precious, and has the most beautiful blue eyes that sparkle!

Wanda and Will recently celebrated an anniversary and wanted to have some new pictures taken to celebrate. We headed over to Ross Bridge Monday evening and had the beautiful walking trail all to ourselves. Little Chloe even got in on some of their pictures.

Kim, Jeff and their kids rocked their family session. All of the kids had so much fun smiling and goofing off for their pictures. When everyone is having fun, it shows in the pictures and it makes my job so much easier.

In two short months, this family of three will welcome twins girls. Big brother is pretty excited about them, and I know mom and dad are patiently waiting for their arrival.

We’ve had the pleasure of knowing the Chaffin family for a few months now, and they are just the sweetest! Amber is like my long lost sister. We’re basically twins from what we like to eat, things we like to do, oh, and did I mention our kids are both fifteen months apart?
Little Judah is about to be dedicated in church in a few weeks, and they needed some up-to-date pictures of him, and of their family. So we scheduled a time for late September (thinking it would be cooler) to have them taken. Y’all we we started at 8:45 a.m. and we didn’t even take the first picture before we were sweating to death. I’m so over this heat, and so ready for actual Fall temps.
Even though everyone, including the boys, were over the heat and sweat — their session turned out great! These are a few of my favorites from their session.

It’s Fall!! Hallelujah! Now if the temps would follow suit, I’ll be a little happier. To kick off my favorite season I took my first Fall mini session of twenty sixteen.
The Herron family consists of two sweet parents, and two adorable little boys which the camera loved. I couldn’t have asked for more cooperative subjects to photograph!
I loved that Krystle took time out to get her hair and makeup professionally done before the session yesterday evening. Katie at SpaOne80 did a fabulous job adding to her beauty and giving her all the confidence that she needed to rock their session.
